How to add an accessorial charge?
Introduction
An accessorial charge is a fee charged for special services or circumstances not contemplated in the base freight cost. These services require extra labor, equipment or time.
How to add an accessorial charge?
We go to the Freight section -> Loadboard -> Freight Details.
Then we click on the Comission tab.
The next step changes slightly depending on whether we are adding a Shipper or Carrier accessorial charge:
Shipper's accessorial charge
This is made to the load (i.e. the total set of goods being transported). We locate the shipper's accessorial charges and click on Add.
Carrier's accessorial charge
This is made to a segment (i.e. a part of the total path a load follows). We locate the carrier accessorial charges and click on Add.
Next, for both shipper and carrier charges, the following menu will appear, where we must select a type of additional expense from the list, the amount we will give to that expense, and the currency. Once we have filled it in, we click on Add.

Finally, after we have added all the accessorial charges we need, we click on Save. We will be able to see the charges in the Commission tab.
