Introduction
All Fleet Rocket TMS customers will be able to post and post segments to the Fr8app Marketplace system. This is for the purpose that, if the customer does not find or is not satisfied with the internal Carrier bids in the Marketplace or does not have capacity available, the load is posted for the Carriers and the Fr8app team to view, bid and operate.
*If this is the first time you are posting a load to the Fr8app Marketplace from Fleet Rocket it is necessary to submit a ticket to the Fleet Rocket Support team beforehand to perform the initial setup.
See article on Fleet Rocket Marketplace
This article explains step by step how to publish a load to the Fr8app Marketplace from the Fleet Rocket platform, as well as the other integration processes such as updates, uploading documents, etc.
How to publish a load in the Fr8app Marketplace
First, we access the freight information in Freight -> Loadboard -> Details of the load we want to access.
We then go to the Segment List at the top -> Identify the segment of the load we want to post -> Post to Fr8app marketplace
Next, we must fill in the Amount field with the maximum amount we are going to offer to the Fr8app market, taking into account the profit we want to get from that movement. After making sure that the currency type is correct, click on Save.
IMPORTANT: If the segment is posted on Fr8app Marketplace, the first carrier to bid this amount or less (taking into account Fr8app's operation), will win the segment. Any carrier bidding more than this amount will not win the segment.
If all required data is filled in correctly, a new shipment will be created in Fr8app.
Required data to publish a load in the Fr8app Marketplace
If at the moment of publishing the load the following error message is displayed, it means that we are missing data that, although they are not mandatory in Fleet Rocket, they are mandatory for Fr8app.
Such data that we must fill in on our load, in addition to those normally required by Fleet Rocket, are:
Pickup Number
We find it in the Identifiers section at the moment of creating the load.
Consignor
It is located in the Pickup section.
Consignee
This information is filled in the Drop-off section.
Content
We find it in the Freight section of the form. Here we can add the NFMC code if we know it.
Pallets
The same as the previous data, it is in the Freight section.
If our load is already published, only the collection number of the fields described above can be edited. The rest of the upload details can be edited by clicking on the pencil symbols in each section.
Synchronization
The updates in the loads that are carried out in Fr8app will be reflected in Fleet Rocket and vice versa. Both systems are fully synchronized.
The Fr8app updates to Fleet Rocket are:
Cancellation/unpublishing process
If a load is cancelled or unpublished on the Fr8app marketplace, it will automatically be cancelled or unpublished on Fleet Rocket.
Dispatch information added in Fr8app
When a unit is assigned to the load, the tractor and trailer information is updated, which means it is ready for dispatch.
Status update
All status changes to the load in Fr8app are also updated in Fleet Rocket.
Tracking update
Document upload
The SRC and CRC are automatically generated documents. Documents such as BOL or POD must be uploaded manually.
The Fleet Rocket updates to Fr8app are:
Shipment data update
In Fr8app it will not be possible to update load information, as it is relative to the Fleet Rocket shipper.
Once the load is being operated, it will not be possible to update the status on the Fleet Rocket side, as it is a load that is already being operated by Fr8app.
