The In-Motion process is a system-wide process that helps identify whether a load is in motion or not. If an account representative selects the In-Motion Calculation feature as enabled, and the load is automatically tracked, either through a mobile app or integration, the system will perform internal calculations to notify you that the load is in motion.
If we go to the load details in the Segment tab.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and see the option Disabled Motion Calculation. You can enable it directly.
Note: Only users with the Track and Trace, Track and Trace Manager, and/or Ops Rep roles will have the option to change this option.
If the functionality is active, a message with the following format will be sent to the "Transit Segments NO Motion" notification channel.
#[Load-ID] - [Shipper Name] / [Carrier Name] - Transit segment NO Motion.
The load ID being a hyperlink to access that segment within the system.
