These are the technical aspects to consider when integrating with this GPS:
Critical Fields
For the integration to work correctly, we must ensure that one of the following fields in the unit dispatch (segment unit in the tracking tab) is correctly filled in:
- Box plates
- Tractor plates
- Box number
- Tractor number
Keep in mind that if positioning is obtained for both the box and the trailer, the box's positioning will always be prioritized and will be the one updated in the segment tracking.
Carrier Equipment Report
This integration DOES include Carrier Equipment Reporting.
You can access it in the Reports section -> GPS Integrations -> Sky Guardian Carrier Equipment.
Start Status
When the fields are correctly filled in, the integration should start throwing locations from the Dispatched status.
The location will update as long as the segment has tracking enabled, integrations enabled, correct unit information, and is in one of the following states:
- Dispatched
- Box in pickup yard
- In pickup
- Pickup Appointment Confirmed
- Loading
- Loaded
- In transit
- In transit At stop
- Box in crossing yard
- At border
- Box in carrier yard
- At destination
- Box in delivery yard
- Delivery Appointment Confirmed
- Unloading
Notification Channels
Notification channels can be configured for both errors and tracking update logs.
