Introduction to Marketplace
Within the system, we have the Marketplace tab. The Marketplace will allow us, as carrier representatives, to view all the loads posted on the system's internal freight market, as well as submit rates for possible trip assignment.
How to submit rates within the FleetRocket Marketplace
To submit our rate as a carrier we go to the Marketplace tab within the system.
We identify the goods that interests us, observing its characteristics (Type of vehicle, origin/destination, dimensions, weight, etc.) and click on Send Rate.
We validate all the trip information and fill in the Fare field, accept the legal terms of use, and finally click Send Fare.
If the rate meets the expected price, a direct assignment will be made to our carrier account and reflected in the Dispatched tab.
If, on the other hand, the required percentages are not met, an automatic assignment won't be made. The rate will remain proposed in the marketplace for that load until it is accepted or rejected by a representative of a Fr8App partner carrier.
Marketplace Filters (SmartFilters)
As carriers, we have the option to display only the types of loads that interest us in our Marketplace through SmartFilters.
To do this, go to the Marketplace tab, then click on Filters in the top right corner.
Once inside the filters tab, we will have to name our new filter and select the criteria that we need the load to meet in order to be displayed in our smart filter (Origin, Destination, Pickup, Trailer, etc.).
We can set up automatic notifications (via email or push notifications) if we want to be informed when a load meets the criteria of this filter.
Finally, if we want a temporary search filter (only for that moment), click Search. However, if we want a permanent filter (SmartFilter), click Convert to Smart Filter to save it to our profile.
**If you have created a new Smart Filter, you will see that a new tab has been generated above the list.
