What is a panic button?
Due to road insecurity, many units are equipped with a panic button: a button-shaped device on the truck's dashboard that can be quickly and easily pressed in emergencies, such as attempted theft or robbery. These panic buttons are connected to the carriers' security centers or GPS providers, and when pressed, they trigger different security protocols to respond to such events.
FleetRocket employees in operational roles will have the option to press it in the event of an emergency.
